Squash at Northern
Northern has a thriving squash section with over 200 adult
members playing on 4 courts including a superb championship glassback
show court.
There are five men's, three ladies, an Over-35's, Over-45's and Junior
teams playing in the Northumbria county leagues as follows:

Internal leagues run all year round with the summer leagues being more
informal than the very competitive winter leagues. Various competitions
run throughout the year including American scoring handicaps and the Club
Championship.
A very popular Junior section is run by SRA-qualified coach Richard Vitty.
